Micky was introduced to the South Side area of Columbus through her role as a Mental Health Case Manager at Southeast (Community Mental Health Clinic) and became a member of the Church for All People. Through Micky’s work with the church, she developed a free class providing individuals with skills and tools related to mental health, covering the identification and recognition of issues, as well as the best actions to address them. This is part one of a two-part series. Part one addresses the class, and part two will discuss the book that Micky has written, which was used as reference material for the class.
